À chacun ses couleurs

The decision taken to follow up the shared garden “Fragment’ère” of 2008, seeks to express the diversity of everyone’s colour perception.
The general composition of the garden is faithfully based on the existing one, keeping the walls, paths and well installed setting of horsetails and ferns and displaying plants whose variations will be provided more through morphological diversity and differences in texture and leaf-colour than through their flowers.
Four plant divisions, changing through the seasons, are a reference to different environments and varied climates. Two climates are given preference. The tropical climate is called to mind by the dry and wet gardens and the temperate climate by the light and shade gardens:

The blue garden: the first, with predominantly blue-tinted leaves, shows plants suited to draining soils and a dry climate.

The green garden: the second, with predominantly green leaves, presents plants suited to fresh soil and a humid climate.

The purple garden: the third, with predominantly crimson leaves groups the plants with varied soil requirements and suited to a temperate climate.

The yellow garden: the fourth, with predominantly two-coloured golden leaves combines plants with varied soil requirements and suited to a temperate climate.
