The garden
For the designers, the fable allows us to explore the sin of pride.
Thus, the garden is an ode to the fragility and vanity of all construction work, whether done by humans or by Nature itself, and that the destructive wind can bear away in an instant.
You are invited to wander modestly through the garden by crossing the large metal hoops that symbolise the segments of an oak tree trunk, once proud but now laid on the ground – but leaving Nature to slowly re-assert its rights.
By taking the winding pathways surrounded by aquatic plants, you can meditate on the vanities that a destructive wind, here represented by a helix and by the form taken by the paths, can carry away in a few hours.
Here, all is given over to Nature, which re-asserts its rights to call us back to modesty.
DESIGNERS

Manon Chevalier is currently in the final year of her Landscaping Masters at Agrocampus-Ouest centre d’Angers, specialising in project management and engineering. Her in-house experience, with an association and at a design company, strengthened her desire to become a landscaper engineer. Envisaging a place so that it can be lived in, designing a project, following its execution, its evolution, collaborating with others - such will be the essence of her future career.
Antonietta Masillo was born in southern Italy. Anthropology graduate from the University of Bologna, she works with drug addicts, political refugees, etc. She also travels a lot, coming into contact with numerous cultures. Human nature fascinates her. Antonietta has brought an expert and critical eye to the concept of the garden and has enriched it with her knowledge.
Romain Bardin is an engineer landscaper, graduating from Agrocampus-Ouest centre d’Angers in 2013. He initially gained experience with architects and landscapers in France and in England, designing private gardens and planning projects for public spaces. A lover of photography, he put on an exhibition on the theme "plants make up our landscapes". Today, as founder of his company "lonyx conception", he offers original planning projects which respect their environments and meet the expectations of their users.
