ARTS AND NATURE

The "art and nature" theme is central to the artistic project run by the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, a public cultural cooperation establishment, created in 2007 by the Region Centre and the Town of Chaumont-sur-Loire. It is an opportunity to discover great contemporary artists invited to the Castle and in the Park.

The Domaine is therefore the "first Centre of Art and Nature entirely devoted to the relationship between nature and culture, artistic creation and landscape invention, heritage and modernity". Visual arts and photography exhibitions, performances by the performing arts and the showing of films create a lively, diversified programme throughout the year. Experienced, internationally reputed artists and young talents are accommodated at the Chaumont-sur-Loire residence and have a role to play in all areas of the Domaine.
