GARDENS OF LIGHT (subject to availability)
A poetic stroll through the Festival lit up by light-emitting diodes. This staging reveals previously unseen features of the gardens using colours, lights and reflections. In partnership with Philips, Citéos and Néolight. Every evening from 10.00 pm until midnight.
A celebration of autumn and its colours as the summer sun fades away. Plant scenes are created for the occasion made from seasonal vegetables and foliage, cucurbits and colocynths. Collections of old and rare vegetables. Workshops for creating wickerwork garden accessories and advice from the Domain’s gardeners.
NOVEMBER 2018 TO FEBRUARY 2019
Every year, the Arts and Nature Centre devotes all its winter exhibitions to photography, using the Château and Farmyard as venues for presentation of works by great photographers expressing their unique viewpoints on landscape and nature.
Transforming its greenhouses, kitchen garden, Stables and Farmyard into magical environments despite the cold and bad weather, the Estate provides ample proof that, even in wintertime, gardens can make you dream.
DECEMBER 2018 AND JANUARY 2019
THE JOYS OF WINTER
The Château celebrates Christmas in a warmly welcoming festive setting. The main staircase, Grand Salon, Library, Dining Room and many other of the Château’s rooms are decked out in their festive array, aglow with all the colours of Christmas. Every afternoon during the Christmas holidays, the Estate’s teams organise creative workshops for children, where participants can make their own magical mobiles or listen to wonder-filled Christmas stories.
